We process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2) and other applicable law.
1. Who Is Responsible
Conversion Design d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: privacy@ad-localizer.com.
When you upload content that contains other people’s personal data, such as the voice or face of a person speaking in your video, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf as your processor (see Section 4).
2. What We Collect

- Voices: recordings you upload to clone a voice, the voices cloned or designed for you, and pronunciations you add.
- Glossaries and brand settings you enter.

3. Why We Use It
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under Article 6 GDPR.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the Services and producing Output | Contract |
| Creating and securing your Account | Contract |
| Payments, renewals and refunds | Contract; legal obligation |
| Recording voice-cloning consent and handling disputes about it | Legitimate interests; legal obligation |
| Preventing fraud and abuse, and keeping the Services secure | Legitimate interests; legal obligation |
| Support and service messages | Contract; legitimate interests |
| Fixing errors and improving the Services | Legitimate interests |
| Marketing to customers | Legitimate interests, with the right to object |
| Marketing to prospects and website analytics | Consent |
| Accounting, tax and legal claims | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights. You can ask us about that assessment at privacy@ad-localizer.com.
4. Voices, Faces and Other People’s Data
The videos you localize often contain people. To produce Output, the Services recognise and transcribe their speech, tell speakers apart, and, at your request, keep or clone a speaker’s voice and match their mouth movements to the new voiceover.
- We do this on your instructions, as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for it and for the consent of every speaker whose voice is cloned or whose face is lip-synced (see Section 6 of the Terms of Service).
- We do not use voices or faces to identify anyone.
- We do not use your content or Output to train AI models.
- A voice cloned for you is used only for your Account and is deleted when you delete it or close your Account.
- If you are a speaker in someone else’s video and did not agree to your voice being used, contact privacy@ad-localizer.com. We will pass your request to the customer concerned and may suspend use of the voice.
5. AI Processing and Automated Decisions
The Services use AI models to transcribe, translate, voice, subtitle, resize and lip-sync your content. They do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about anyone within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. Refund decisions and the suspension of Accounts are made by people. Signals used to detect fraud or abuse lead to human review and do not restrict an Account by themselves.
6. Who We Share It With
6.1 We do not sell personal data.
6.2 Service providers
We use providers that process personal data on our instructions to deliver the Services:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel, Supabase, Google Cloud.
- AI processing: ElevenLabs (speech recognition, voiceover, voice cloning and voice design), fal (lip-sync and audio separation), Google (Gemini models), OpenAI, Anthropic and OpenRouter (translation and script work).
- Payments: Stripe.
- Monitoring: Sentry (error tracking) and Langfuse (quality monitoring of AI requests).
- Email: providers that send service and marketing emails.

6.3 Legal requests
We may disclose personal data where the law, a court or an authority requires it, or where it is needed to enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or investigate fraud.
6.4 Business transfers
If our business is merged, acquired or reorganised, personal data may pass to the successor under the same protections.
7. Transfers Outside the EEA
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards of Article 46 GDPR: the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and additional measures such as encryption. You can request a copy of the safeguards at privacy@ad-localizer.com.
8. How Long We Keep It

9. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, logging and monitoring, and contractual safeguards with our providers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Cookies and Analytics on This Website
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies unless you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Necessary: your cookie choice, kept in your browser’s local storage so the banner does not ask again.
- Analytics, only if you accept: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measure visits and which pages are used; Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, to help us improve them.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The localization studio uses only the cookies and storage it needs to sign you in and run.
11. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and get a copy;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure, subject to what we must keep by law (for example invoices for 10 years);
- restriction of processing in certain cases;
- portability of data you gave us, in a machine-readable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;

To exercise a right, write to privacy@ad-localizer.com. We answer within one month, which can be extended by two months where necessary. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
12. Emails
We send service emails about your Account, payments, renewals and changes to our terms; these cannot be switched off while your Account is active. Marketing emails can be stopped at any time with the unsubscribe link in each one or by writing to privacy@ad-localizer.com.
13. Children
The Services are not intended for anyone under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell you about material changes by email or in the Services at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect, unless the law requires an earlier change.
